Fire Easy's offspring have proven to be big winners in my barn! I have trained many barrel horses and these colts are proving to be my favorites. I have not rode one yet that was not an athlete, this makes putting a pattern on them super easy. One of the most talented that I have is a gelding (Delite The Fire aka Roy), Roy was clocking 1/D times by his 10th run on the clock. The impressive thing about what Fire Easy did here... Roy's dam is an appaloosa mare that has no fancy breeding and yet he produced a colt that is not only gorgeous to look at but also pours with Fire Easy's talent.

When it comes to working with an outside horse AND rider, there are very few trainers (if any) I would place in Tamme's league. Tamme has an uncanny ability to look into a horse's personality to determine which training styles will work best for a particular horse. Case in point: I sent a nice 12 year old Flaming Jet/Wonder Otoe bred mare to Tamme to "figure out" what methods would work best for the horse, from exercising, slow work, and running the barrel pattern. After 45 days, I saw a horse that was much happier with her job, who looked forward to her workouts, and loved entering the arena for her run at the barrels.
I then sent my daughter for Tamme to teach her how to more efficiently ride the mare, as well as how to correct and tune the horse. Tamme's teaching method is outstanding, and I am so happy with the results. She connects with her students, easily communicating with small doses of information so the student can first understand, and then apply the new found knowledge. My daughter is a much better horse person now, and we plan to continue hauling to Tamme and Jimmy's ranch for additional lessons because of the mentor relationship Tamme generates with both my daughter and "Pokey."
I need to emphasize Tamme's ability to connect with a horse. Horses quickly develop a trust with Tamme that is built on respect and appreciation, not harshness. Tamme is also very successful in teaching others how to build this same trust level with their horse!

I really appreciate Tamme and Jimmy's knowledge on training horses. I have ridden benind them and feel that they do an awesome job of putting a good foundation on a horse and making them use themself not only properly but in the most effective way possible. I would recommend them both to anybody and feel that they do an outstanding job training horses. Tamme also does a great job patterning a horse for barrels and has produced several nice barrel horses over the years.
